Help us look up company pages
Recotap builds a directory of companies on LinkedIn. Looking those up through
LinkedIn's official API needs a signed-in account, and each account gets a daily
allowance. Connecting yours lends us that allowance — nothing more.
What we actually read
- Public company pages — names, websites, logos. The same
information anyone sees when they visit a company on LinkedIn.
- Your name and email, once, when you connect. We store this only so
we know whose connection it is and who to email if it stops working.
Nothing is sent to you otherwise.
What we never touch
- Your connections, messages, or feed
- Anything private on your profile
- Posting, liking, commenting, or messaging — we cannot do any of it,
and never ask for permission to
Connect LinkedIn
Ten seconds, and you're done — there's nothing to
set up afterwards. You can disconnect whenever you like from
LinkedIn › Settings › Data privacy › Permitted services,
and we'll simply stop using the allowance.
